The master of the Capoeira finally makes his way to Tekken 8.
Tekken 8 comes with a brand new, well, not totally brand new character with the first season of the DLC. As you know, long time Tekken character, Eddie Gordo will arrive in April, but some of you might not know exactly when he arrives this month. Made his first appearance in Tekken 3 and has been a cult favourite for many years. But now he’s back and is ready to be used, if you own the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition as both editions contain the Tekken 8 Playable Character Year 1 Pass.
See, Eddie Gordo was available to play a few days ago if you have either of those editions. But now, if you own the standard edition, you’ll can play right now with the Capoeira master. But, if you own the standard, you’ll have to pay a small fee to use him. Bandai Namco also confirmed that with the 1.03.01 comes a new Tekken 8 Battle Pass, balance changes, fixes, new items and more. You can see more of the new Tekken 8 update on their website.
However, along with this new update that has come through, unfortunately, it comes with a lot of negative feedback from the community. Some of which has caused more problems, especially when it comes to online play. Plus, fans are still annoyed that the issues regarding the pluggers or cheaters have not been properly resolved. And we don’t know whether these issues would be sorted anytime soon.
But for now, we get to enjoy Eddie in Tekken 8, and we can’t wait for the next DLC character. Although, there has been no announcement as to who the next one would be, let alone the other two characters.
