As WWE 2K24 looms, there is another big leak you should know about.
With WWE 2K24 being confirmed, we’re getting a host of news, gossip, and so on about the upcoming professional wrestling game, and although it isn’t confirmed, it’s highly likely that WWE 2K24 will arrive in just a couple of months, March, to be exact. And one would hope that it has a great turnout like the predecessor, WWE 2K23 had. It’s all but confirmed that the next cover athlete for WWE 2K24 will be the American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes.
This is pretty exciting, as he made his long awaited return to the WWE in 2022 after a six-year hiatus, and even since his return, he became an even bigger star with the likes of putting on a five star performance against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 38, winning last year’s Royal Rumble, and main eventing the following WrestleMania, WrestleMania 39. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to overcome the tribal chief, Roman Reigns. But this has been an incredible two years for Cody. Now, he’s possibly the next cover athlete.
Now, with that being said, WWE 2K24 has some more information that you’ll love to know about. Although, WWE 2K24 hasn’t released the official roster for the game yet, there is a leak that shows the rumoured DLC roster. Including if you were to pre-order the game, even though that isn’t available right now either.
A tweet by an account named ‘Inside2KTea’ uploaded a picture of a list of DLC characters that may be in WWE 2K24, with DLC 1-5 packs. It also says that you’d need to pre-order the game to be able to get the Pat McAfee DLC character. Plus, if you pre-order the icon edition, you might be gifted with different character versions of the recently deceased Bray Wyatt as homage, including the Fiend. Alongside other members of the Wyatt Family, such as Erick Rowan and the late Luke Harper.
Meanwhile, the other WWE 2K24 DLC packs might contain legends like The Iron Sheik and also the recently late Terry Funk. And it’ll also contain older superstars like the Dudley Boyz and Billy Kidman. And unless you’ve been under a rock for the last couple of months, the best in the World, CM Punk, makes his return to the WWE after almost a decade, and he’ll indeed become a DLC character for pack four.
