Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s New Fighter Revealed June 22

Looks like the Arms character will have a deep dive from Masahiro Sakurai. Sakurai previously mentioned that the next DLC fighter coming to Ultimate would be from Arms. The 2017 fighting game for Switch. On Monday, June 22, director Masahiro Sakurai from the game Super Smash Bros Ultimate, will reveal details about the Nintendo Switch fighting game’s next character. Nintendo announced this on Twitter on Friday.

The live stream will air on YouTube on 22nd June at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET. In a roughly 35-minute video, Sakurai’s presentation on the Arms fighter will allow an in-depth look at the character. Nintendo also confirmed that the Arms character will be the only fighter revealed during the stream. It’s a sign that will make fans should temper expectations for a tease. The first fighters pass added Hero from the Dragon Quest series, Byleth from Fire Emblem, Three Houses to Ultimate as paid content, Banjo, Kazooie, and Terry from the Fatal Fury/The King Of Fighters, and Joker from Persona 5. As part of the Fighters Pass Vol.2, The unnamed Arms fighter is the first of an additional six characters coming to Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

Spring Man who appears as an Assist Trophy character in Ultimate is very popular with Fans. Ribbon Girls were often presented as the faces of Arms characters such as Min Min, Helix, Twintelle, and Ninjara have proven popular with fans. The Arms roster consists of 15 playable characters.

Based on Nintendo’s latest IP, The next fighter Arms was announced way back in March. The fighter will also be the first star to appear in the second fighter’s pass and is expected to arrive at some point this month.
