The Epic Games Store exclusive is the studio’s first self-published narrative game.

DONTNOD Entertainment has declared the delivery date for Twin Mirror, a thrill ride set in an unassuming community in West Virginia. Twin Mirror will be delivered on PS4, Xbox One, and PC by means of the Epic Games Store on December 1, 2020.

Twin Mirror was declared path in 2018 and is from a similar studio behind the Life is Strange arrangement and the as-of-late delivered roundabout experience Tell Me Why. Twin Mirror is another Americana-set riddle featuring a man named Sam Higgs who re-visitations of his old neighborhood for his closest companion’s burial service.

There he should reveal the insider facts behind his companion’s passing utilizing his scientific aptitudes. Higgs can wander into his Mind Palace which will be genuinely spoken to in Twin Mirror. From that point, Higgs can sort out pieces of information and re-make situations of occasions to get to the reality of what truly befell his companion. Dontnod has practical experience in story stories set in humble communities across America.

\What follows is a psychological thriller that looks to be very much in the vein of Dontnod’s numerous other picturesque-locale-gone-freaky efforts, with the exploratory bits now married to a system where Sam – and his “more emphatic and social” alter-ego Double – can utilize his strikingly designed “mind palace”, revisiting the past and searching for clues. Any individual who pre-orders Twin Mirror will likewise get the soundtrack as a digital bonus.

Unlike previous Dontnod narrative adventures, Twin Mirror won’t go the episodic route, meaning players will get the whole story in one go when it comes to Xbox One, PS4, and the Epic Store (which has secured a one-year exclusivity deal on PC) on 1st December.
