It’s been a long time since Ubisoft last announced anything new about Roller Champion. Today, Ubisoft finally gave some details about this during the most recent Ubisoft Forward. The awful news, sadly, is that it includes a delay.

Roller Champions was first announced at E3 2019. Ubisoft was focusing on a launch in mid-2020. It’s now September, and the game is nowhere to be seen. So now we can say that the game won’t be out in 2020 by any means.

Rather, Ubisoft is trying to release the game sometime in mid-2021. So far, Ubisoft has let players give the game a shot through a free demo and a closed alpha, giving them a sense of what could separate the game from comparable games like Rocket League.

Roller Champions will launch in mid-2021 for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
