With two exclusive features included, Dead by daylight, Behaviour Interactive’s online horror title has been announced to be coming to Stadia.

Dead by Daylight was announced as part of Stadia’s Connect event. Crowd Choice modes and Crowd Play are the two new features that will be included in the Stadia version of the game. Crowd Choice allows for viewers to vote for the influencer to either play or kill as a survivor or killer, then to vote to decide which character they will get to play as in the match.

Stadia players won’t have to wait long before being able to pick up the game because the title was formally announced to be coming September of this year. The isometric multiplayer horror title has been a huge success since its first launch in June 2016. It has received countless maps, additional killers and survivors through the years from popular movies, TV shows, and horror games. The game features classic horror icons like Ghost Face, Leather Face, Michael Myers, and most recently, Silent Hills’ very own Pyramid Head.  The second feature of the game will surely make for some engaging, fun streams. Named Crowd Paly Mode, it will give streamers the ability to directly invite their audience into the game with the touch of a button, and play with them instantaneously. Though the modes are clearly intended for bigger YouTubers to interact with large streaming crowds, it will be fun to see how the mode might work with a smaller group of friends playing together and how the Crowd Play will function out of the box.

We will find about all these when the game launches on the new streaming platform this Fall. Dead by Daylight is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. It launches on the Stadia In September 2020.
