But it’s not a free upgrade from the Xbox One version.

The Sinking City Xbox Series X form is accessible now as a standalone buy, developer Frogwares has declared.

The next-gen adaptation of The Sinking City sports 4K visuals at 60fps, quicker stacking times, “improved graphical fidelity,” and new journeys with the Merciful Madness DLC. You can get the Deluxe Edition, which incorporates Merciful Madness, for $64.99 at the Microsoft Store, or you can go with the standard release for $49.99.

Tragically, because of a continuous legitimate debate, The Sinking City on Xbox Series X is definitely not a free update for proprietors of the Xbox One rendition of the game. “The Sinking City on the previous and current generation of consoles has different IDs and different publishers on record,” Frogwares clarifies in an official statement. “On Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, Frogwares is the developer and publisher of the title. So, due to the ongoing legal and technical situation, this game is currently not eligible for a platform upgrade.”

On the off chance that you missed it the first time around, The Sinking City is a Lovecraftian investigator experience game where you play as Charles W. Reed, a private agent and WW1 veteran wrestling with frightening dreams of a sinking city.

The third-individual ongoing interaction includes investigating the anecdotal city of Oakmont, Massachusetts, looking for information about its unrelenting flooding.
