Here's a quick guide on how to earn MRP fast in Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve.
MRP is needed for pretty much everything in the Aircraft Tree, from new aircraft to special weapons and upgrade parts. You'll earn plenty during a normal campaign run, but if you're trying to buy a lot of aircraft or reach the bigger MRP milestones, you'll eventually want a faster way to build it up.
Replay Mission 28
Once you've finished the campaign and unlocked Free Mission, Mission 28: A Thousand Points of Light is one of the best choices for a longer MRP grind. There are plenty of enemy aircraft to shoot down, and you can land at the Cima Island airstrip to rearm before getting back into the fight.
This makes the mission especially handy if you don't want to worry about running out of missiles halfway through a farming run. You can keep fighting, rearm when needed, and finish the mission to collect your MRP.
Use the Highest Difficulty You Can Handle
MRP rewards scale with difficulty, with Ace difficulty giving the highest 1.5× multiplier. Ace is unlocked after completing the campaign on Elite, so don't worry if you haven't unlocked it yet.
If you're not comfortable on Ace, use the highest difficulty you can clear consistently. There's not much point choosing a harder setting if you're constantly failing or taking much longer to finish the mission.

Try Mission 16 for Quick Runs
Mission 28 isn't necessarily the fastest option if you're only looking at MRP earned per minute. Mission 16: Singer has become a popular choice for shorter farming runs because you can finish it quickly once you've learned which ships to target.
The payout from a single run is smaller, but the short completion time means you can start another run almost immediately. If you don't want to spend a long time in one mission, this can be a better option.
Don't Quit Before Finishing
Whatever mission you use, make sure you actually complete the sortie. MRP is awarded when the mission is completed, so abandoning a run after spending several minutes destroying targets can mean losing the reward from that run.
It can be tempting to leave once you've earned a decent score, but finish the mission and take the MRP before starting another run.
Spend MRP With a Plan
You don't need to save every point you earn. MRP is used for aircraft, weapons, and parts, and the larger completion goals track your total MRP earned, rather than requiring you to keep that amount sitting in your account.

Use Mission 28 for a longer farm, Mission 16 for quick repeat runs, and always finish the mission before moving on.
FAQ
Q. What difficulty gives the most MRP?
A. Ace difficulty has the highest listed multiplier at 1.5×.
Q. Can I farm MRP before finishing the campaign?
A. Yes. You can replay missions that are available to you, although Free Mission unlocks after your first campaign clear and gives you much more freedom to choose what to replay.
Q. Do I lose MRP if I quit a mission?
A. MRP from that sortie is awarded when you complete the mission, so it's safest to finish the run rather than quitting early.
