Here's a quick guide on the Gacha System & Banner Pity in Arknights: Endfield.
Saving for a particular Operator in Arknights: Endfield? Learn the pity rules before spending Oroberyl. Character and weapon banners use different currencies, and some guarantees disappear when a banner ends.
Check your pity counter before pulling. Regular 6-star pity and the limited-character guarantee are two different things.
Character Pulls and Drop Rates
A character pull costs 500 Oroberyl, or 5,000 for ten pulls. Rates are 0.8% for a 6-star, 8% for a 5-star, and 91.2% for a 4-star. A 5-star or higher is guaranteed every ten pulls.

After 65 pulls without a 6-star, its drop rate increases by five percentage points per pull. A 6-star is guaranteed by pull 80. This pity carries over between Chartered Headhunting banners, and any 6-star resets it.
Limited Character Banner Pity
On a Chartered Headhunting banner, a 6-star has a 50% chance of being the featured Operator. Losing the 50/50 doesn't guarantee your next 6-star will be featured.
The featured guarantee kicks in at 120 pulls, but doesn't carry over when the banner ends. After 60 pulls, you receive a Headhunting Dossier for a free ten-pull on the next Chartered banner. Use it before it expires.

Beginner and Standard Banners
New Horizons is the beginner banner. It uses special permits from the beginner event, not Oroberyl. It ends after 40 pulls and guarantees a permanent 6-star Operator. Completing all 40 pulls also gives you a 6-star weapon selection supply.
Basic Headhunting is the permanent standard banner. It guarantees a 6-star within 80 pulls, and 300 pulls let you select a standard 6-star Operator. It uses its own Headhunting Permits, separate from limited-banner resources.
Weapon Banner and Its Guarantees
Arsenal Exchange uses Arsenal Tickets. Each Arsenal Issue costs 1,980 tickets and gives you ten weapons; single pulls aren't available. Rates are 4% for 6-star, 15% for 5-star, and 81% for 4-star weapons.
Four issues guarantee a 6-star weapon, but only 25% of 6-stars are featured. The eighth issue guarantees the featured weapon if you haven't obtained it. Weapon pity resets when the issue ends, so progress won't transfer to the next one.
Keep your banner counters separate and save for the guarantee you actually want.
FAQ
Q. How much Oroberyl do I need to guarantee a limited Operator?
A. Save 60,000 Oroberyl for 120 pulls. This covers the full featured-character guarantee.
Q. Does character pity carry over to the next banner?
A. Yes. The regular 80-pull 6-star pity carries over between Chartered banners, but the 120-pull featured guarantee does not.
Q. Is weapon pity shared with character banners?
A. No. Weapon banners use Arsenal Tickets and have a separate pity counter. It also resets when the weapon issue ends.
