Here's a guide on how to defeat every boss in Lost Castle 2.
Every boss in Lost Castle 2 has a set of patterns that become readable with practice. Learning what each one telegraphs and when to strike makes even the harder fights manageable.
Mysterious Shadow
This boss always opens by teleporting. If it teleports close, two claw attacks follow. If it teleports further away, an AoE move is incoming - walk toward it during the charge and get damage in.
When the transition to phase two hits, AoE damage drops across the ground. Stay calm and dodge through it. Phase two follows the same pattern but demands tighter dodging. Look for the beam charge or the long range arm grab - those are the windows to deal damage.

Phantom of the Lost Swordsman
One of the harder bosses in Lost Castle 2. When she raises her fan to her face, dodge immediately - she repeats this several times in phase one. A clear shield appearing around her means a retaliation move is coming.
She will jump and dash toward the player. In phase two, she opens with a long charge into three slashes. Walk as far away as possible to avoid it. Phase two also makes her more susceptible to staggering - go aggressive and keep landing hits to interrupt her patterns.
Forest Guardian
This boss scatters poison and roots across the ground constantly. Keep moving at all times. Getting caught by roots is not a big deal - wiggle the character free quickly and carry on.
In phase two, destroying the green sacks at the base of the boss becomes the top priority. The longer they stay up, the more health the boss regenerates.

Goblin Champion
A slow boss overall. Watch for the three side-to-side charges - once they finish, he drops flat on the ground and stays vulnerable for a window of free damage.
Mad Gardner
His biggest threat is three side-to-side dashes. Moving up and down dodges them cleanly. In phase two, most of his major attacks leave him stationary, which opens up long damage windows.
Mutated Priest
One of the more forgiving bosses in Lost Castle 2 - he largely stands still. When he summons mobs, clear the casters first before returning to the boss.
The bottom right corner of the arena is the safest position and keeps damage flowing throughout the fight.

Alchemist Eugene
Two bosses share this fight - Eugene and Bobby. Finishing both at roughly the same time prevents either from going berserk.
In solo play, go straight for Eugene and take him down first. A berserk Bobby is manageable. A berserk Eugene is a much bigger problem.
Last Guardian
Most of his attacks pull toward him. Counter this by staying close and dashing through him to his back - that is the safest position in the fight.
When the whirlwind spin starts, there is enough time to walk or dash out of range.
Treasure Anglerfish
A large character model, so treat this fight like the Wandering Knight - stay directly above or below him near his center. Watch for whirlwind spins.
His big attack has him diving into the sand three times before surfacing at the player's location. Walk far away to dodge the dives. The third surface pull is harmless - just dodge to the side.

The Captain
He slams his cannon twice before spinning and firing cannonballs when the player is close. If the player moves away, he skips the spin and fires directly.
Stay close to bait the slower spin pattern and dodge the cannonballs from there.
Angry Thunder Spirit
Throw the Blue Crystals at her to break the shield. She telegraphs her main attack by summoning lightning from her hands. The sequence is two directional claws, an AoE spin dash, then a big AoE from the air - the last one is largely harmless, so focus on dodging the earlier parts.
She is also highly susceptible to staggering and can be staggered indefinitely from the right angle.
Behemoth
A slow, tanky boss that summons orbs during the fight. Pick them up and throw them back to break the armor on his chest for maximum damage.
When he blows the player to the left side of the screen, get back close immediately - Blue Crystals drop that can be thrown to break his shield.

Crystal Devourer
His most common pattern is two stomps followed by either a spin or an aerial dash. The aerial dash is the most dangerous move - dodge toward him, not away. Dodging away clips the hitbox and can still take damage.
Frost Colossus
Stay on his back for most of the fight - it avoids the majority of his attacks. The dangerous moment is when he charges an uppercut, which he follows with two quick attacks.
Skip reading the damage and focus on dodging those two follow-ups. The big white AoE freeze does not require getting fully outside the circle - a single dodge clears it.
Wandering Knight
One of the most dangerous bosses for beginners in Lost Castle 2, especially on horseback. Stay directly above or below his character model near the center - never to his left or right since his model is too wide to dash through. His attacks are wide range so anticipate and dodge early.
When he dismounts, the pattern becomes a repeating loop - two sword slashes, then a tracking sword move from left to right or right to left, then either a spin AoE or two sword slams. Mastering this loop makes the dismounted phase straightforward.

Nightmare Maid
Defeat the two puppets before the maid fusion begins. Their attack patterns are slow and easy to read. After the fusion, her main attack is two claw moves into a spin - always expect a second spin to follow the first. When her HP drops low, she adds an air dash after the two spins.
Warden
Stay to his side throughout. He has three major attacks. The first is three side-to-side dashes - walk up and down to avoid them.
The second sends him into the air to drop chainsaws and artillery - walk around the room to dodge. The third is a spin, which is the trickiest. If close, dash directly at him to get through it.
Steward, the Demon Sealer
One repeating pattern - horizontal sword hold into a thrust, followed by a couple of jabs, then a jump and dash toward the player's last position.
Once this loop is read, the fight becomes simple. Walk around and deal damage after each attack sequence ends.

Destroyer Demon Lord
Despite the name, this is one of the easier bosses in Lost Castle 2. Standing next to him drains his blue shield quickly. Use this fight to test the current build and see how much damage is being put out. Treat it as a victory lap rather than a serious threat.
