Here's a quick guide on the crafting the best team compositions in Marvel Rivals.
Mechanical skill doesn't guarantee success in Marvel Rivals. If a team picks heroes that have the right roles and powers to work with each other, they're much more likely to capture objectives and win fights. Knowing a few core compositions will help you adapt to different maps and opponents and improve your overall performance.
Balanced Team Composition
The most reliable setup is 2 Vanguards, 2 Duelists, 2 Strategists. This provides a strong front line, consistent damage, and enough healing to get through longer fights. It’s very good on most maps and perfect for pushing the ranked ladder.
Dive Composition
Mobility is important to get your dive teams in and out to pick off vulnerable enemy supports and ranged heroes quickly. Mobile Vanguards and Duelists should work together, overwhelming isolated targets before they can escape. And the best way to do that is good communication and synced attacks.

Brawl Composition
Brawlers are melee specialists. They clump up, push hard and outlast the opponent with tankiness and good healing. This composition is at its best on maps with tight corridors and indoor objectives where heroes that excel at close range can shine.
Poke Composition
The idea behind poke comps is to damage your opponent from a safe distance, and then go in for the kill. Ranged heroes kept up the pressure on the enemies, forcing them to spend resources healing or retreating. Then you can push in the front line and take the objective. Weaken the enemy squad.
Defend the Carry
If one player is consistently putting out the most damage, the team can build around protecting that player. Vanguards open space while Strategists keep the carry alive with heals and defensive abilities. Giving your main damage dealer room to work can turn a match quickly.

Team-Up Synergy
Marvel Rivals’ Team-Up system rewards heroes that play well together. Some combinations grant you additional powers or significant combat advantages. Choose heroes that can synergize well with the team to boost mobility, defense, or damage output to give your team an edge in team fights.
Adapt to the Enemy
No formula works in all situations. If the enemy is always diving your backline, try switching to more defensive heroes. Area of effect damage heroes do a lot better against grouped enemies. The secret to winning is often match adaptation.
Communication is Key to Winning Matches
Without teamwork even the strongest composition will suffer. Coordinate pushes with pings or voice chat. Warn teammates of threats coming in and coordinate ultimate abilities. A well-organized team with a good plan will usually beat a disorganized team with better players.
The team composition is one of the most important things in Marvel Rivals. Balancing roles, utilizing Team-Up synergies, adjusting to your opponents, and communicating with your teammates will give your team the best chance of winning every game.
