Ancient Technology Points are among the scarcest progression resources in Palworld. These are not normal Technology Points, but are used to unlock powerful blueprints such as better weapons, advanced tools, useful equipment and unique structures. High-tier techs are limited, so if you want to unlock them fast, it’s important to know the best ways to earn them. 

Defeat Alpha Pals 

The main way to earn Ancient Technology Points is to defeat or capture Alpha Pals. These powerful overworld bosses are scattered across the map, often guarding specific locations. Hunting bosses is one of the quickest ways to grow your collection, as every Alpha Pal gives you Ancient Technology Points the first time you defeat or capture it. 

You can go back to bosses when they respawn for materials and experience, but Ancient Technology Points are only given the first time you clear each unique Alpha Pal. That makes it worth checking out every area and taking on every boss you come across. Before you go to battle with tougher Alpha Pals, make sure your weapons, armor and Pals are ready for battle.

Clear Tower Bosses

Another major source of Ancient Technology Points is Tower Bosses. These story-battles open up as you move through Palworld’s main objectives, and they’re far more challenging than your average Alpha Pals. First time defeat of each Tower Boss awards several useful items, including Ancient Technology Points 

Since each tower can only give its first-clear rewards once, you’ll need to keep progressing through the story in order to unlock every Ancient Technology blueprint. Each boss has unique patterns and elemental strengths, so make sure you prepare your team thoroughly before heading into these fights. 

Explore The Entire Map 

The earning of Ancient Technology Points is very much tied to exploration, as every new area has extra Alpha Pals and Tower locations. Besides hanging around your starting base, travel through deserts, snowy mountains, volcano zones, forests and islands to meet more boss battles. 

It makes revisiting these areas a lot easier with fast travel points along the way, and lets you efficiently hunt down the remaining bosses. You also get to find better gear and higher-level Pals so fights with the bosses are much easier in the future.

Spend Your Points Wisely 

Ancient Technology Points are much harder to come by than regular Technology Points, so don’t go spending them on every blueprint you see. Some of the Ancient Technology unlocks are much more valuable than others, especially those pieces of gear that help you explore, fight, or gather resources. 

If you aren't sure what to unlock next, try saving a few points until you get to higher levels. As the game progresses, new blueprints become available, and you might find that later unlocks are more useful for your playstyle than earlier ones. 

Defeat all Unique Bosses 

The best long-term strategy is simple: beat every unique Alpha Pal and every Tower Boss at least once. Each encounter offers a one-time reward, so players who thoroughly explore the world will naturally earn enough Ancient Technology Points to unlock most of the important upgrades in the game.
