But remember, no pre-orders? Despite being hyped about the trailer, some players stick to their guns by not preordering Battlefield 6.

Well, there you have it. Electronic Arts has unleashed the Battlefield 6 trailer, and it was total hype. If you need any more confirmation that Battlefield 6 is a thing, then you have the trailer to take a look at on Battlefield’s official YouTube channel. Now, although it’s official, don’t be too stoked because the trailer was simply cinematic. There were no gameplays at all, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

It’s a two-minute trailer, and without spoiling too much, the Battlefield 6 trailer gives us hints and details of what to look for. And we’ve been thinking for a while now that the setting is very likely in the modern era. And if you’re still looking for when we’re able to see some gameplay footage for the upcoming Battlefield 6, then we’ll simply have to wait another week, literally.

The very end of the trailer says that July 31, 2025, is when we get the multiplayer gameplay reveal. We’d hope to be impressed by the gameplay, and with the beta confirmed to be coming through, we need to see what to prepare for. No pressure, but we’d hope that the gameplay would be an indication that it could be the FPS king. And with Call of Duty currently in hot water, you could say that this is the ultimate opportunity to make that happen.

Although it wasn’t mentioned in the trailer, it’s been rumoured that Battlefield 6 will be on current-gen consoles only. Unfortunately for you, last-gen owners, it’s time to get a PlayStation 5 and/or Xbox Series X|S if you wish to enjoy the console version. It’s said that they’ve dropped the last-gen version, allowing much larger battles and improved action.

Whatever this means, hopefully, that means we’ll get a much better experience and not suffer the somewhat disappointing release of the last game, Battlefield 2042. Unfortunately, the game’s release wasn’t announced, but you can wishlist Battlefield 6 right now for your respective platform, and you’ll be the first to know when the game will release for you to pre-order. But on the other side, some players feel that pre-ordering the game isn’t a good idea, mainly due to the fiasco of 2042. But anyway, these are exciting times ahead.
