The mode in FIFA 23 contains fresh details like the ability to play as Authentic managers and ‘personalities’ for your players.

FIFA 23 seems to be doing what many have asked from FIFA for the last few years. We know for certain that both Kylian Mbappe and Sam Maggs are featuring on the ultimate edition cover, showing a female footballer for the very first time. The newest career mode deep dive was dropped on the EA official YouTube channel:

This deep dive showed various new aspects of the career mode. From a new progression system for player careers with ‘Player Personalities’ allowing you to make your player a Maverick, Virtuoso or Heartbeat. It also showed off the ‘playable highlights’ feature, which allows players to dive into specific moments of the match generated by the game’s simulation.

The video also shows off the game’s newly implemented transfer analyst feature, which will rate how well you have done in a transfer for a player,
as well as the new and improved AI in-game. Finally, the video highlights the Authentic Managers. Finally, in FIFA 23, players can play as their favourite managers; supposedly, players can choose from 350+ managers, with 30 of those managers being star-heads.

There are more details that this video didn’t cover that are found in the FIFA 23 Pitch Notes. Details like how the save file limit has been upped to 17 and how pre-season games will be closer to the beginning of the season so that ‘player sharpness’ is not wasted. There are more details found on EA’s official post.

What do you think of these Career mode changes in FIFA 23? Was it exactly what you wanted? Were you expecting more? Comment down below what you think.
