God of War: Laufey Launches Feb. 16, Kratos Sequel Confirmed

The next chapter of the God of War saga finally has a release date, and while it won't put Kratos in the spotlight, fans can breathe easy his story is far from over. Sony Santa Monica used San Diego Comic-Con to officially announce that God of War: Laufey will launch on February 16, and revealed that another mainline God of War game starring Kratos is already in the works.

That second announcement may have been just as important as the release date itself. Ever since Laufey was revealed as the new lead character, many fans have wondered what it means for Kratos and whether his journey has come to an end. According to the sources, the answer is simple: it hasn't.
