The Wolf Among Us 2’s reveal trailer has been announced to occur tonight.
Telltale Games was shut down in 2018, due to a menagerie of information pertaining to poor work culture and horrible work practices. That, combined with what can be ascertained as overworked employees, the company’s shutdown became almost an inevitability. Many of its projects were canned, with a few being saved, including The Walking Dead games’ final season, which was saved by Skybound Games. Telltale was then revived in 2019, to a slew of overjoyed fans that were distressed after all the announced Telltale Projects were swept under the proverbial rug. Now that excitement is about to pay off.
Telltale has put out a statement on Twitter stating that tonight, Wednesday, 9th February, the reveal trailer for The Wolf Among Us 2 is finally coming.
Yeah, that’s right, a trailer is on the way! Fans can watch The Wolf Among Us 2’s trailer at the Game Awards’ Twitch account. It will be shown, as stated on Twitter, at 10 am PT. (That’s 1:00 pm ET and 6:00 pm GMT.) The true rebirth of Telltale happens now, with the first true trailer of The Wolf Among Us 2. They already made a statement on Twitter last year that discussed how different the developer process would be. Moreover, they stated that they would “sustainably develop whole seasons at once”.
That statement, in particular, is excellent news and portrays that the company is attempting to learn from the sins of the past. The part that particularly stands out is the “developing whole seasons at once,” which should be beneficial for both fans and the developers alike.
The Wolf Among Us 2 is a sequel to the fantastic The Wolf Among Us. The first game was released back in 2013, with fans clamouring for a sequel almost consistently the entire time. It feels like incredible progress that we will see a reveal trailer for the game. I would advise everyone who can to get comfy and let the excitement drip over you. Telltale’s back and “they’re doing it right this time.”
