Shut yourself back into Leshy’s Cabin with Kaycee’s Mod and extend your Inscryption experience.

For the unaware, Inscryption is a very well-received deckbuilding roguelike, noted for its dark and suspenseful horror tone and sacrifice-based gameplay, where your cards must be killed to play other, more powerful ones.

Kaycee’s Mod is a free mini-expansion that focuses on some of the game’s earlier content, which fans had praised for its unique style and feel. This expansion has been in the works for a few months, initially releasing as a beta branch on Steam in December of 2021. Its availability allowed fans of the game to help with the development of the expansion via playtesting and bug reports.

The trailer for the expansion can be seen here:

It is important to note that the content of Kaycee’s Mod is unlocked post-game, so too much delving in is unadvised if you have not yet completed the game or do not wish to be spoiled on the game’s story. More information on Kaycee’s Mod can be found on this post on Inscryption’s Steam Community page, as well as on the game’s page itself.
