To mark the imminent arrival of Syberia: The World Before on PC and Mac, Microids has released new screenshots.
Twenty years ago, Benoît Sokal and Microids released the first Syberia game. For the first time in over a decade, gamers will be able to experience a new chapter in Kate Walker’s journey beginning on March 18, 2022.
Dana Roze, a 17-year-old pianist from Vaghen in 1937, is at the beginning of a stellar career. It’s only towards the beginning of the Second World War that she begins to see a dark cloud looming over her future. Taiga, 2004: Kate Walker is fighting for her life in a salt mine when a terrible occurrence sends her on a quest to discover who she is.
Syberia: The World Before lets players embark on a journey that will take them across countries and through time. Get to the bottom of secrets that have been dormant for too long, as they play as both Kate Walker and Dana Roze. The voyage through Benoît Sokal’s fantastical and lyrical universe, with its magnificent landscapes and recognizable figures.
Players get to uncover a sinister scheme laced with riddles in a traditional Syberia fashion! Benoît Sokal and Lucas Lagravette team together to bring the players two riveting tales of cutthroat adventure. The journey is fueled by Inon Zur’s symphonic soundtracks, famous for his works for Syberia 3, Fallout, Dragon Age, and Prince of Persia.
Syberia: The World Before will be released for PC via Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 4, Xbox One on March 18, 2022.
