Movies that are popular on social media and in theaters are definitely rare. It seems like everyone on social media is talking about it, and it’s very popular amongst women. There are all kinds of TikTok trends where people are reenacting scenes from Wuthering Heights with their significant others.
It’s hard to open any social media and not see anything about this film in the past couple of weeks.
I think Wuthering Heights will continue to do really well in the box office, and more than likely, when it comes out on streaming, we’ll see even more clips from the movie. As of now, we’re only seeing theater recordings from people’s phones.
But it seems like a lot of the critics aren’t necessarily loving Wuthering Heights and are talking about how it’s focusing more on the horniness than on the actual story. People are talking more about specific scenes and the overall story, in my opinion. It is getting that sort of classic gothic fantasy fashion back in style, it seems.
I’m curious to see if the movie is accurate when I go and see it, since there have been multiple conflicting reviews. You either love it or hate it, it seems. Which makes it a strange movie, as it might only be popular with fans of the book and/or the actors.
