Here's how to unlock cosmetics in Lost Castle 2.
Most cosmetics are locked when you start Lost Castle 2, and the game gives you no hint on how to get them. You buy them from a merchant in your camp, and he shows up once your camp reaches a certain level. This guide shows you how to make him appear, where to find him, and how to buy and equip what he sells.
Why Cosmetics Are Locked in Lost Castle 2
When you make your character, many cosmetics are locked. When you talk to Dazzle the Goblin Stylist, the decoration menu has the same problem. Almost everything in it is locked with no note on how to unlock it. Only a few tails are available.

Camp Level Needed for Greedrick
In Lost Castle 2, a goblin merchant named Greedrick sells the locked cosmetics, and he appears in your camp. He shows up once your camp reaches Camp Level 30.
Every upgrade you buy raises your Camp Level, and so does each extra rank in an upgrade you already have. You pay for upgrades with gold. You don't have to buy every upgrade. Keep buying until Greedrick appears.

How to Start Upgrading Your Camp
You can't upgrade your camp in Lost Castle 2 right away. It opens after a run or two. Then talk to Armstrong, the woodcutter, in the northwest of your camp. He opens the first upgrade tree. The first upgrade, the Blacksmith Shop, is free. If you don't want to sit through his dialogue, go to the workbench and do it there.
Where to Find Greedrick
Once your camp reaches Camp Level 30, Greedrick the Goblin Merchant appears in your camp. He hides behind a statue. Talk to him to open his shop. If you don't see him yet, keep upgrading your camp.

How to Buy and Equip Cosmetics
Greedrick sells the locked cosmetics in Lost Castle 2, like tails, glasses, and hairstyles, plus a few other items. Each one costs gold and Black Iron Ore. He also sells ornaments.
Once you buy a cosmetic, it is unlocked for good. To use it, go back to Dazzle, open the transmog section, and pick the slot. For example, a purple snake head mask shows up under headwear after you buy it.
Adventure Items and Permanent Cosmetics
Greedrick's menu in Lost Castle 2 has a note at the top. It says some items are only available for the current adventure and unlock after your camp reaches max level. That is a different list from the cosmetics below it. The cosmetics you buy from the lower list stay with you for good.

What to Do Next
Finish a run or two, then talk to Armstrong in the northwest of your camp. Spend your gold on upgrades, since every one raises your Camp Level. When you reach Camp Level 30, check behind the statue in your camp for Greedrick. Keep some gold and Black Iron Ore for his shop.
To unlock cosmetics in Lost Castle 2, you upgrade your camp to Camp Level 30 so Greedrick shows up, buy cosmetics from him with gold and Black Iron Ore, and equip them with Dazzle the Goblin Stylist.
