Mister Fantastic is a Duelist in Marvel Rivals. He specializes in disruption of enemies with his elastic abilities, sustain damage abilities and flexible combat. He doesn’t like bursts as much as other Duelists, but he does well in longer fights where he can use his mobility, versatility and range to pressure his opponents from different angles.

If you want to play Mr. Fantastic, you need to know when to get in, how to combo, and how to stay alive while dealing damage.

Combinations of Stretching Abilities

His damage source is primarily his elastic attacks. Don’t use each ability separately, use your basic attacks and abilities to keep up a steady pressure. Improve the timing of your abilities so you can chain them without leaving big gaps in your damage. Good combos will make it harder for enemies to hit you back, and will increase your overall DPS.

Adjustable Positioning

One of Mister Fantastic’s greatest strengths is his ability to attack from multiple angles. Stay at range, harrying your foes with your long range and keeping just behind your Vanguard in any large fight. Don’t over-aggress in the enemy backline unless you know your team will follow up.

You’re going to need to be constantly moving in a fight so that you don’t become an easy target. You’ll also want to create new angles of attack.

Pressure on Key Targets

Attack your nearest enemy but focus on the most valuable heroes for the enemy team. Enemy Strategists usually get targeted first, then the fragile Duelists. They are constantly taking damage and are forced to fall back or be destroyed. It is difficult to stay in the fight. You can speed up your team’s progress to the goal by wisely picking your targets rather than going for tank attacks.

Best Timing for Ultimates

Mister Fantastic's ultimate is most effective when used in a team fight against a large group of enemies clustered together. Don’t use it as soon as it is released. Instead, hold off on engaging until your Vanguard is in the battle or the enemy is committed to the battle. Combined with allied crowd control, your ultimate becomes much more powerful and can easily turn the fight in your favor.
