Here's a quick guide for The Hood in Marvel Rivals.
The Hood is a Vanguard that blends aggressive transformation mechanics and mobility, with ranged pressure and durability. Unlike traditional tanks that stay anchored to the front lines, the Hood can create space and attack enemies mercilessly from multiple directions. He is good at disrupting enemy formations as he can pressure opponents while being difficult to pin down.
Playing Near The Frontline
The Hood should be near the frontline most of the time. That doesn't mean though that they can just rush into the enemy team without a second thought. Ranged attacks should be used to pressure your opponents before entering close combat. You want to draw your enemies’ attention to you, while giving room for your Duelists and Strategists.

Manage Your Form
Depending on the circumstances, the Hood’s transformation mechanism provides him with a wide range of options. Use his standard form if you need steady pressure, or his alternate form if you need more combat power or survivability in a dangerous situation. Knowing when to evolve is important, as getting rid of the mechanic can mean losing a key tool in a particularly intense battle.
Create Space for Your Team
The Hood’s role as a Vanguard is not merely to hurt. Stop enemies from getting down your backline unchecked, contest objectives and push them away from key positions. Even if you can’t get eliminations, forcing your opponents to reposition can give your teammates valuable opportunities to attack.
Use Your Mobility Aggressively
The Hood's mobility makes him able to fight, pressure enemies and reposition before they can punish him. Use your mobility to get behind the enemy and disrupt their formations. However, when pushing further into enemy territory, it is important to have an escape route.

Your Ultimate Timeline
The Hood’s ultimate is most powerful when it can influence a major team fight or objective fight. Look for opportunities when a group of enemies is clustered together or your allies are ready to follow up. Don’t use it for small damage; it is best used for gaining a large advantage in critical engagements.
A Few Words Of Advice
The Hood is best when aggression is balanced with the responsibilities of a Vanguard. Get clever about your mobility and transformations pressurize from unexpected angles on enemies and create space to be close to your team.
Don't judge your game by how many kills you get. You’re already providing a ton of value to your team by constantly breaking enemy formations, guarding your backline and controlling objectives.
