Here's a quick Venom guide for Marvel Rivals.
Venom is one of the most aggressive Vanguard heroes in Marvel Rivals and specializes in diving into the enemy backline and disrupting their formation. He is a great initiator because of his mobility, durability and crowd control, but reckless dives can get him killed very fast. Playing Venom well means knowing when to jump in, who to focus on, and how to stay alive long enough for your team to capitalize.
Initiating Fights
Venom is good at starting fights by diving right into exposed foes. Before you go all-in on your mobility abilities, wait until your teammates are ready to follow-up, because diving alone is usually an easy kill for the enemy team. Try to find areas that break up the opposition backline or get key targets off teammates. A well-timed initiation forces the enemy to react immediately, and gives your team valuable time to either push objectives or secure eliminations.

Survivability
Venom is incredibly tough, but not indestructible. Use your defensive skills after you’ve attracted the enemy’s attention, not immediately upon engagement. This lets you soak up more damage while opponents are throwing out their biggest attacks. Try to stay in range of your Strategists when you can, so they can heal you in long fights. You'll have to manage your cooldowns and keep an eye on your health to stay a consistent threat on the frontline and not an easy target.
Priority Targeting
One of the most important skills for a Venom player is knowing the right target. Take out enemy Strategists and fragile Duelists first as removing them or distracting them is a massive blow to the enemy team. Do not waste too much time attacking heavily defended Vanguards unless they are isolated or almost defeated. If you don't kill them, you still force the key support heroes to run away, they can't heal their teammates, and your teammates have a chance to win the fight.
Routes For Escape
Every successful Venom dive should have an escape plan. Before fighting, locate walls, cover or a path of movement that will give you an escape route if the fight turns against you. If your abilities are on cooldown or your healers can no longer support you, disengage instead of fighting until you are eliminated. It is much more valuable to escape with low health, than to die after an unnecessary long fight, as you can regroup and put pressure on the enemy again during the next fight.

Final Remarks
Venom pays off for players who combine aggression with intelligent decision making. If you time your fights correctly, manage your survivability, choose the right targets to attack and always have an escape plan you can dominate the battlefield and be a relentless dive tank that constantly disrupts the enemy team’s strategy.
