Here's how you can obtain the Logan Crest in Moonlight Peaks.
This quest starts with the Logan Crest missing from the Crest Garden, sending you around town trying to figure out where it disappeared to in Moonlight Peaks. Ludo turns out to be the key to solving it, despite initially pretending not to know anything and letting the search drag on for hours before finally coming clean.
Starting the Investigation
The quest kicks off at the Crest Garden, located to the left of Town Hall, where you'll find the group gathered over the missing Logan Crest. From there, the quest log points you toward three residents to question, in order: Alina, Aras, and Dragan.
None of them turn up anything useful on their own - Alina and Aras have no leads, while Dragan, a seer, only offers a vague vision pointing toward the Howling Marshes once the group regroups at The Broken Lamp to compare notes.
Tracking Down the Truth
Saga and Ludo join in on the search, splitting up to cover more ground across town rather than sticking together, a familiar pattern in how quests unfold in Moonlight Peaks. Hours pass without any real progress, and there's even a moment where giving up on the search altogether gets floated before everyone decides to push through instead.
After all that searching turns up nothing, Ludo admits, in front of Saga, that he's known the Logan Crest's location the entire time. Furious at having been strung along for hours, Saga sends him straight to Town Hall to come clean to his father, where the full story comes out - the crest was accidentally swallowed by Yabbis, the frog vendor, during an unrelated transaction that had nothing to do with the crest itself.
The reason it ended up in Yabbis's hands at all is almost comedic - Ludo had the crest on him while buying a batch of stress-relief flowers from Yabbis, and it slipped away during the exchange, prompting his sister to ask if he'd gone back for "green flowers" again.
This reveal wraps up Tension in the Crest Garden, shifting the objective toward meeting Ludo at the Howling Marshes as the next quest, A Croak and a Crest, begins.
Continuing Into A Croak and a Crest
Heading into the marshes to meet Ludo picks up this new quest, which continues directly from where the first left off - tracking down Yabbis and figuring out how to convince him to give the Logan Crest back.
Confronting Yabbis directly reveals he's unwilling to just hand the crest back for free. Instead, he demands a Copper Bar in exchange, which isn't something readily available early in a Moonlight Peaks playthrough, especially if you haven't started mining yet.
Retrieving the Crest
Copper needs to be mined from the Cave of Echoes in Misty Shores, meaning this quest effectively pauses until you track down that resource and bring it back to trade. While you're down there, it's worth grabbing extra copper beyond just the one bar Yabbis needs, since a Furnace also requires copper to build, saving you a second trip back down shortly after.
Once you've handed the Copper Bar over to Yabbis, return to the Crest Garden for the final scene, where the Logan Crest is restored to its display and the questline wraps up completely in Moonlight Peaks.
