Here’s how to earn XP on all six class tracks in WARDOGS.
Season 2 of WARDOGS cut the XP each class level needs and moved several rewards to different tracks. This guide covers where the XP comes from for all six classes. Numbers reflect the game as of late October 2026 and may shift with hotfixes.
How Season 2 Changed Leveling in WARDOGS
In WARDOGS, level 10 now takes 25,000 total XP instead of 35,000, and level 20 takes 111,500 instead of 250,000. Bulkhead's CEO, Joe Brammer, put it in hours: the time that once got you to level 14 now gets you to level 20.
The cut peaks around level 20 on purpose, since the median player in each class stopped near level 10 last season. Levels 1 to 8 and each level past 20 take as long as before. If you stalled before level 20 in Season 1, it's now within reach.
Bulkhead patched Driver progression soon after launch, once players used an exploit to unlock tanks early. Players caught exploiting got 24-hour bans along with cash and XP resets, so skip any loop the game wasn't built to reward.

Run Logistics Streaks as a Driver
Logistics now pays a streak bonus for deliveries in a row. For example, a pallet paid 500 Driver XP at the start of a streak and 25 more for each pallet after, up to 750.
Getting home adds a round-trip bonus that also grows with the streak, from 100 up to 600 XP in one session. Payouts have shifted more than once since launch, so check your XP feed after a run to see what yours pays.
The Ural unlocks at Driver level 3 and carries two pallets per trip. Dying anywhere on the route ends the streak, so if the FOB is under attack, wait outside the zone instead of driving in.
Before level 3, fill a Kodiak with teammates and drive them into the zone. One run from base with a few passengers is reportedly enough to reach level 3.

Earn Driver XP With the Kodiak M249 in WARDOGS
The Kodiak [M249] unlocks at Driver level 6, and you earn Driver XP when your gunner gets kills. For example, assists paid $1,600 to $2,000 and 250 Driver XP each. Outside the combat zone, one kill paid 128 XP instead.
Once you reach the zone, have passengers step out and back in, which reportedly adds a deployment reward. If your gunner goes down, they stay in the vehicle, so drive clear, revive them, repair, and head back in.
The Kodiak takes damage fast, and so does anyone on the gun. Stay behind your own infantry instead of pushing in alone.
Build and Unload for Support XP
Unloading a pallet another player delivered pays Support XP, for example $1,800 and 180 XP per pallet. With a partner in a second Ural, unload each other's pallets instead of your own, which reportedly doubles what you both earn.

Building pays per hammer hit. Reportedly, the Small Hammer gives 3 XP and $15 per hit, the Medium Hammer 5 XP and $25, and the Large Hammer 8 XP and $40, down from 10 XP and $50 last season.
The Large Hammer unlocks at Support level 8. Until then, drop a FOB, bring a Ural full of supplies, and build with the hammer that comes with the FOB.
A FOB reportedly costs $7,500, while unlocking the Medium Hammer costs $25,000. Skip that unlock and save toward level 8.
Season 2 buildings need more supplies, so each one takes more hits to finish. That adds up to more XP and cash per building, even after the per-hit cut. Finishing a building also pays a bonus, for example 15 XP.
A supply crate left on the ground can reportedly be punched open in 22 hits for 150 Support XP and $300. An RPG hit on a Kodiak with no one inside, by contrast, paid only $113 and 38 XP.

The Stingray drone pays Support XP when it hits vehicles. One tank kill paid 1,300 Support XP in total once the driver, a shutdown bonus, and the vehicle itself all counted.
The FOB’s L81 Mortar also pays Support XP. For example, a mortar kill paid 350 XP, destroying a spawn vehicle radar paid 250 XP, and an assist on a spawn vehicle paid 500 XP and $8,800.
Destroy Buildables for Assault XP in WARDOGS
In WARDOGS Season 2, destroying buildables, C4, and IEDs all earn Assault XP instead of Support. Rewards now match a structure's supply cost, with XP at about a quarter of the cash.
A drill can be seen from outside its FOB, so you can hit it from range. For example, three RPG hits on one paid $2,750 and 700 Assault XP.

Hacking an enemy FOB pays the hacker $2,500 and 250 XP, and teammates inside its radius now get $1,000 and 250 XP. Destroying a FOB pays up to $7,500 and 250 XP, scaled by the supplies stored inside.
Gun kills pay about 250 Assault XP and $2,000, and grenade kills pay about the same. Kills in the hot zone reportedly pay about double, while kills outside the zone pay about half.
Revive and Fight as a Medic
Reviving the same player again and again pays less each time. In one run, three revives on one teammate paid 200, then 152, then 104 Medic XP, so spread your revives across the squad.
Check a downed player's bag for a quick revive and use it on them, since it works faster than reviving by hand. Healing pays less, about 72 XP the first time, and players rarely hold still for it.

The PP-19 Bizon now comes unlocked from the start on the Medic track, with a 53-round magazine. SMG kills pay about 250 Medic XP, and one headshot kill paid 275. A player you revived earlier can also add a 25 XP assist when they help on a kill.
Later in the season, stims used on players inside the hot zone reportedly pay double. A stim bought for about $250 to $300 returned $1,000 plus XP when used in the zone.
Spot and Snipe as Recon in WARDOGS
Spotting in WARDOGS pays about 30% less than in Season 1, and rewards now scale with the value of the target. Spots alone paid 13 to 25 XP, while a spot that turned into a kill assist paid about 200 XP and $1,500.
Vehicles pay more. For example, a Little Bird just after it spawned paid 20 XP, a spawn vehicle 100 XP, and the T-72B3 tank 60 XP.

The Scout Rifle now kills a player without a helmet in one headshot, while a Level 1 helmet takes two. Headshot kills paid 275 Recon XP each in one session.
Move Players, Then Pallets as a Pilot
Start by flying passengers in the Little Bird. Dropped crates pay little, because few players carry bags with room to unpack them, and air transport also earns a round-trip bonus.
Once you unlock the Lakota, switch to pallet runs, because other players unload them and you collect the Pilot XP. A Lakota sometimes spawns at base, and grabbing it first lets you earn Pilot XP before you unlock one yourself.
What to Do Next
Pick one class and stick with its XP source from this guide for a whole session. Check the XP feed after each action to confirm which track it credits. Bulkhead is considering bringing Season 3 forward, so level the class you care about most first.
Season 2 cut the XP each level needs, so a few sessions on one class's XP source can carry it to level 20.

Q. Does reviving the same teammate keep paying?
A. It does, though each revive pays less, so pick up different players when you can.
