Here's a quick guide on how to find all Shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Finding all 120 Shrines in Breath of the Wild takes a lot of exploring. Some are right out in the open, while others are hidden in caves, behind puzzles, or tied to Shrine Quests. You can find them in any order, so there's no need to follow a specific route.
Use the Sheikah Towers
Get a better view of the area. After activating a Sheikah Tower, climb to the top and look around with your scope. You can often spot a Shrine's orange glow from surprisingly far away. If you see one, mark it on your map so you don't have to remember where it was.
Activate Shrines You Find
You can always come back to them later. If you find a Shrine but don't feel like doing it right away, just activate it and move on. It will become a fast travel point, which can be really handy when you're travelling around Hyrule later.

Use the Shrine Sensor
Let it help when you can't spot a Shrine. The Shrine Sensor starts beeping when you're getting close to an undiscovered Shrine. Walk around and see which direction makes it react more strongly. This is especially useful when the Shrine is somewhere you can't see from the surface.
Check Caves and Strange Areas
Don't only search the open areas. Caves, cliffs, ruins, valleys, and other unusual spots are worth checking. If you see something that looks a little strange or out of place, go take a look. You might end up finding a Shrine you would have otherwise missed.
Don't Ignore Shrine Quests
Some Shrines aren't going to show themselves easily. There are 42 Shrine Quests in the base game, and many of them lead to Shrines you won't find through normal exploration. Talk to NPCs in villages, stables, and other places you visit. Some of them have clues that can point you toward a hidden Shrine.

Keep Checking Your Map
Use your map to see what you've already done. An activated but unfinished Shrine has an orange center, while a completed Shrine is completely blue. If you're down to just a few missing Shrines, go back through areas you didn't explore much and use the Shrine Sensor again.
The DLC adds 16 more Shrines, but those are separate from the original 120.
Keep exploring, check anything that looks suspicious, and use the Shrine Sensor when you're stuck.
