The RED Playtesting Program onsite events will be held in Boston, Massachusetts.
CD Projekt RED has announced that the RED Playtesting Program will soon be available to players in the US. This means that gamers in the US will be able to join a growing community and have their voices heard in the development of future games from CD Projekt RED.
Initially started in Warsaw in 2023, the RED Playtesting Program has now spread into the United States. Participants in the Playtesting Program have the rare chance to have an impact on CD Projekt RED’s game development from the beginning by providing feedback on gameplay mechanics, story, character creation, and art direction, among other areas.
CDPR is doing this so that gamers will connect with on a deeper level by incorporating diverse viewpoints with their future games, which can very well be The Witcher 4. With a new base in Boston and an expansion to the US, more people will be able to participate in this creative conversation and have an impact on the direction CDPR takes in the future.
Online interviews and other inquiries will complement in-person sessions at CD Projekt RED’s Boston office for players all over the US. Everyone with a passion for gaming is welcome to participate in the program, so don’t let your skill level or gaming history restrict you. Anyone who takes part—must be 16 or older and not work in game development for a living—will get special gear and an opportunity to have their say.

Conditions of participation
To take part in the program you must:
- Be at least 16 years old (if you are under 18, we additionally need the consent of your
parent or legal representative), - Have an active CDPR account,
- Register and accept the required documents.
Registration
All you need to do to apply for the program is:
- Log in to your CDPR account,
- Fill out and send us a form about who you are and how you play video games
If you’ve already registered but decide that you no longer wish to participate in the program, you can opt-out at any time. Just send an email to playtest(@)cdprojektred.com saying so.
