Here's a quick guide on how to farm XP in Minecraft Dungeons II.
If you need to level up, you don't really need to do anything complicated. Just find an area where you can kill enemies quickly and keep running through it. The less time you spend messing around between fights, the more XP you'll get.
Fight Groups of Enemies
Groups of enemies are what you want when you're farming XP. If several enemies are already together, take them out instead of running past them.
You don't have to kill everything on the map, though. If one enemy is way off your route, just leave it and keep going.
Find an Area You Can Clear Fast
Pick an area that you can get through without much trouble. A harder area isn't automatically better if it takes forever to finish.
Try a few different areas and see which one you can clear the fastest. Once you find one that works, just keep running it.
Use Attacks That Hit Multiple Enemies
If your build has attacks that can hit several enemies at once, use them. There's no reason to spend ages hitting enemies one at a time when you can deal with a whole group together.
This also makes repeated runs less tedious, which matters when you're doing the same area over and over.
Don't Waste Time Exploring
When you're farming XP, you probably don't care about every chest or hidden corner. Stick to the route you're using and focus on the enemies that give you XP.
Once you've cleared the useful part of the area, move on. Spending extra time searching around isn't going to help much if XP is all you're after.
Switch Areas If You Need To
You don't have to keep farming the same place forever. If an area starts taking too long or you've outgrown it, try another one.

A route that was good earlier might not be worth using anymore once your character gets stronger.
For easy XP farming, find an area you can clear quickly, take out groups of enemies, and repeat the run without wasting time on things you don't need.
FAQ
Q. Do I need to kill every enemy for XP?
A. No. I'd kill the ones that are already along the route and skip anything that's going to send me running halfway across the map.
Q. Should I farm the hardest area I can handle?
A. Not always. If it takes ages to finish, I'd rather run an easier area that I can clear quickly and repeat.
Q. How can I make XP farming less annoying?
A. Find a short route that you know well and stick with it. Using attacks that can clear groups quickly also makes a big difference when you're repeating the same run.
