Here’s how to unlock Acolyte in Risk of Rain 2: Hallowed Concepts.
Acolyte is one of two new survivors in the Hallowed Concepts expansion. Enforcer unlocks when you buy the DLC, but Acolyte comes from an event inside a run. This guide covers each step, from getting the N'tormat to reviving Acolyte after the Anima Harvester fight.
Get the N'tormat and a Page
Start a run with Hallowed Concepts enabled. You need the N'tormat and at least one page, and it takes your key item slot once you have it. A Trial or a Wake event gives you both.

Wake events spawn at random, so the Trial is the reliable route. Go to the Bazaar Between Time, jump down the pit, and hit the gong. Take the portal that opens.
The Trial's objective is to reach the end. When you do, an Anima Portal appears and you receive the N'tormat and a page. Take the portal back to your run.
Keep a Healing Item
The final step of this unlock consumes a healing item, so hold at least one before you start the fight. A common one is enough. If you can’t find one, the Artifact of Command lets you pick one.

Find the Shrine of Descent
Once you hold the N'tormat and a page, the Shrine of Descent spawns on later stages without fail, as early as stage 2. It resembles a Shrine of the Mountain with a small orb floating above it.
Pray to the shrine. It adds a soul-binding trial to the teleporter event and opens access to the Soulbound Threshold.
Run the teleporter as usual. After it reaches 100%, an extra boss spawns. Defeat it, and a Ritual Portal appears. The shrine adds difficulty, so enter with a build that can handle the extra boss.

Clear the Soulbound Threshold
Take the Ritual Portal to the Soulbound Threshold. Climb the ramps and begin the ritual at the altar.
Four waves of regular monsters and bosses spawn first. After the fourth wave, the Anima Harvester appears. Defeat it to finish the encounter.
Revive Acolyte
When the Anima Harvester falls, the objective changes to completing the ritual at the altar. Acolyte lies on the ground. Interact with Acolyte, and the prompt reads Revive her. A menu titled Can you revive her? lists your items, so choose a healing item.
The item is consumed, so use one you don't need. Medkit, Bison Steak, Leeching Seed, Topaz Brooch, Harvester's Scythe, Cautious Slug, Infusion, and Power Elixir all work. Tougher Times and Dio's Best Friend don't.

What to Do Next
With Acolyte unlocked, her alternate loadouts come next, followed by the new skins. If you hold the Page of Reincarnation on this same route, the Soulbound Threshold also leads to the Providence secret boss.
To unlock Acolyte in Risk of Rain 2, you get the N'tormat and a page from a Trial or Wake event, pray to the Shrine of Descent, clear the Soulbound Threshold, defeat the Anima Harvester, and give Acolyte a healing item.
