Here's a quick guide on how to find Nocturnal Aniimo.
Aniimo can be found in different parts of Idyll, and some only come out when it’s dark. If you’re hunting for a nocturnal Aniimo, you’ll need to be aware of the time of day and where you’re hunting. If you know its habitat beforehand, you will not be wandering around for nothing.
Check Where They Appear
Be sure to learn where the Aniimo you want usually is before going out. Different creatures have different habitats so make sure you’re looking in the right area.
Wait for Nighttime
If you're hunting for an Aniimo at night, make sure it’s actually nighttime. Some Aniimo only come out after dark, so if you search during the day you can run around and find nothing.

Search the Right Areas
When night falls, check out the places where your target is known to show up. Look at open spaces, paths and places where you can see clearly. Some Aniimo can be tucked away and easy to miss.
Watch Your Surroundings
Look where you're going. Depending on what Nocturnal Aniimo look like or how they behave, it might be easier to spot them in the dark, so don’t just rush through the area.
Check Different Habitats
If you don’t spot one in your initial search, try another known habitat. For example, Sparki can show up at night in Nimbus Fields, Beast Fang Ridge and Blitzwood.

Use the Distribution Map
The in-game Distribution Map can show where creatures spawn, and the conditions required to find them. Instead of guessing, check it when you’re not sure where to look.
Take Your Time
You might not see the Aniimo right away, even if you are looking in the right place. Instead of leaving straight away, give the spawns some time and walk around the area.
Come Back If Needed
If the Aniimo isn’t appearing yet, leave the area and return later. You might also want to see if the time or weather has changed before trying again, as these conditions can affect which Aniimo show up.
Catch It When You Find It
When you finally see the Aniimo you’re looking for, be ready to catch it. Have the right Aniipod with you so you do not miss your chance.
Final Tips
Make it night, then see where your target appears before you start looking. If you have difficulty locating its habitat, consult the Distribution Map and look in other locations if you don't find it immediately. With a little patience you should eventually stumble upon the nocturnal Aniimo you’re after.
