Here's a quick guide on how to prepare for combat in Aniimo.
Aniimo can get into fights while you're exploring Idyll, so it's good to be prepared before you encounter something dangerous. With some preparation, battles can be easier and you can avoid having to run back to your Homeland.
Check Your Aniimo
Check out the Aniimo you are planning to bring out. Be sure it is at a good level and you know what its abilities do. A fight can be much easier to handle when you’re using an Aniimo you know.
Bring the Right Aniimo
Not every Aniimo is right for every fight. Consider what you might encounter and bring something that is appropriate for the conditions. If you have several Aniimos available, it can be useful to have a few different options.

Check Your Equipment
Make sure your own equipment is ready before you go. If you have better gear sitting around, or something is broken, fix it before you go into a dangerous zone. You don't want to discover that you are underprepared halfway through a fight.
Stock Up on Supplies
Bring a lot of food, healing items, or anything else you think you might need on your journey. Better to have a little extra than to run out of it when you still have enemies to deal with.
Learn Your Abilities
Take some time to understand what your Aniimo's abilities do. One thing is to have an ability. Another thing is to know when to use it. Test them out in easier battles so you don’t have to learn them on the fly in a harder one.

Watch Your Health
Monitor your health during battle. It’s easy to get caught up in the attack and forget how much damage you’ve taken. If your health gets low, pull back a little bit and heal before jumping back into the fight.
Know What You're Fighting
If you travel to unknown places, watch out for animals around you. Knowing what you may encounter will better inform you of which Aniimo and supplies to bring.
Have a Way Out
Sometimes things don’t go as planned. If a fight seems too tough, learn to back down and walk away. No point in risking it all when you can come back later with better prep.
Practice With Your Aniimo
The more you play with an Aniimo, the better you can utilize it. Start with enemies that are not as strong to get used to how it attacks before moving on to more dangerous ones.
Final Tips
Prepare your Aniimo, gear and supplies before you go into battle. Take care of yourself. Know what your Aniimo is good at. Think about what could happen.
