Aniimo: How to Hatch Aniimo Eggs Guide

Here's a quick guide on how to hatch Aniimo Eggs in Aniimo.

Eggs are another way to add Aniimo to your collection, and you’ll start coming across them as you explore Idyll. Once you have an egg, you need to take it to a Hatchinator and wait for it to finish before you can claim what’s inside.

Find a Hatchinator

There are Hatchinators at Outposts and in your Homeland. Most eggs can be used at either one, although some special eggs may tell you to use an Outpost Hatchinator specifically, so it’s worth checking the egg’s description first.

Choose Your Egg

Interact with the Hatchinator and pick the egg you want to hatch. Insert it, but glance at the description first. Some eggs have guarantees or labels that tell you more about what kind of Aniimo you might get.

This is particularly important for rarer eggs, since you don't want to waste a useful resource without knowing what it does.

Start the Timer

Place the egg in an available slot and confirm it to start the incubation timer. Hatching uses real-world time, so you don't need to stand around waiting for it to finish. You can go explore Idyll, complete quests, or do something else while the timer runs.

Choose an Aniipod

When the egg is ready, you’ll need to finish the hatch rather than simply taking the Aniimo immediately. The game lets you choose an Aniipod to use during the hatch.

Pay attention to what your egg already guarantees before using a better Aniipod. If the egg and Aniipod guarantee the same thing, you may be wasting the extra effect.

Finish the Hatch

Once you've confirmed your setup, interact with the egg when prompted and go through the reveal. You’ll then see what Aniimo came from the egg and can claim it for your collection.

Keep in mind that a timer reaching zero doesn't necessarily mean the hatch is completely finished. You still need to return to the Hatchinator and complete the final steps.

Don't Waste Rare Resources

If you have a rare egg or a valuable Aniipod, don't rush through the process. Read what both items guarantee first and make sure you're actually getting something useful from the combination.

Final Tips

Take your eggs to a Hatchinator, read their descriptions, start the timer, and come back when they're ready. Check what your Aniipod adds before using it, especially with rare eggs. Once the reveal is finished, claim your new Aniimo and add it to your collection.
