Here's how to drop grenades from a drone in Rust.
In Rust, you can load a Drone with grenades and drop them from the air by controlling it at a Computer Station. You set an ID on the drone, link it at the station, add grenades to its storage, and fly out to drop them. The grenade drop is a newer drone feature, so older drone guides may not cover it. This guide also covers what you can drop and how to aim.
What You Need in Rust
You need a Drone and a Computer Station. Craft the Drone at a Level 2 Workbench from 200 metal fragments and 1 CCTV Camera. You need its blueprint first. The Computer Station needs a power source wired to it. This is a newer rule, so older tips may leave it out. You also need grenades, such as F1 Grenades.

Setting the Drone ID
Walk up to the drone, hold E, and pick Set ID. Rust lets you type any ID you like, for example 1 2 3.
Next, go to the Computer Station. You see a place to add an identifier. Type the same ID and add it.
Testing the Drone
Fly the drone to check that it works. Press Left Shift to go up and Left Control to go down. Use W, A, S, and D and the mouse to move around. When you are done, land the drone and press Space to exit the Computer Station.

Loading Grenades Into the Drone
Walk up to the drone, hold E, and pick Drone Storage. Put the grenades in. A small box shows up under the drone. You can fill the storage with as many grenades as it holds. In Rust, you can also load Smoke Grenades.
Dropping Grenades From the Drone
Go back to the Computer Station and access the drone. Lift off and fly to your target. The drone works only within a limited range of the station. The screen shows that the drone drop is ready. Press the left mouse button to drop a grenade. Repeat to drop more.

Aiming the Drone in Rust
Fly above your target and drop as you pass over it. The drone camera is bright, and people are hard to see from the air, so line up your drop before you press the button. Expect to miss often.
The drone has 200 HP, and impacts damage it easily, so don't crash it into buildings. Other players can shoot the drone, and it falls to the ground once it is destroyed. A kill from the air lands far from you, so you may not reach the loot.
Ramming a Helicopter
You can ram the drone into a helicopter that is already damaged. The crash can destroy the helicopter and kill its pilot, but it destroys the drone too. Go out afterward to loot the pilot.

What to Remember
Load the grenades before you lift off. In Rust, the drop works only after the screen shows that the drone drop is ready.
To drop grenades from a drone in Rust, you set an ID, link the drone to a Computer Station, fill its Drone Storage, and press the left mouse button when the drone drop is ready.
