Here's how to reach SHD level 1,000 and pick the right difficulty for XP farming during the x6 XP Event in The Division 2.
The x6 XP Event is the best chance yet to max your SHD watch in The Division 2. It started on November 6, and a x5 Season XP Event is listed for November 10. Check the in-game Events Timeline for the exact end.
What SHD Level 1,000 Gives You in The Division 2
At level 1,000, your SHD watch maxes all four of its stat nodes. Offensive covers weapon and headshot damage plus critical hit chance and damage. Handling adds reload speed and ammo capacity, and both change how a build feels.
Every level past 1,000 also earns Scavenging points. You can spend them on hard-to-find resources such as SHD Calibration and Field Recon Data.

Pick the Difficulty That Clears Fastest
Higher difficulty and more global directives mean better loot and more XP. For XP farming, though, your clear time matters most.
If you are torn between Challenging and Heroic, drop the difficulty and add directives. Faster clears add up over a short event.
Challenging with three directives is a fair baseline and paid 1,970,544 XP in one Public Execution. Heroic with three directives reportedly pays noticeably more XP, so use it whenever you can clear quickly.

How to Farm Public Executions in The Division 2
If you lack the Year 1 Pass, Public Executions are the best open-world farm in The Division 2. They are replayable, and Propaganda Broadcasts reportedly pay about the same XP. Those broadcasts take longer to clear.
Pick a Public Execution near a fast travel point and clear it. Then open Global Settings, select Reset Control Points, and repeat the loop as many times as you like.
Control Points work too, since most activities give 6X XP. Choose whichever you clear fastest.

Use National Bond Armory If You Own It
If you own the classified assignment, National Bond Armory is reportedly the best XP farm in the game. Nothing else comes close, so run it first and fall back on open-world activities when you cannot.
Manage Field Proficiency Caches in The Division 2
Farming millions of XP in minutes floods your inventory with Field Proficiency Caches in The Division 2. Your cache slot caps at 20, and you cannot open them all at once.
Open them in small batches and check each item before you dismantle or delete anything. You do not want to lose gear you meant to keep.

What to Do Next
Check the Events Timeline and plan your farming around the November 10 change. Run National Bond Armory if you own it, or loop Public Executions near fast travel points. Open caches in batches as you go, and check your SHD watch level in The Division 2.
Pick the difficulty that clears fastest, loop National Bond Armory or Public Executions, and reach SHD level 1,000 before the x6 XP Event ends.
