Here's a quick guide on how to travel across the map in Wuthering Waves.
Wuthering Waves boasts a large open-world map that can be hard to navigate if you don’t utilize the fast travel and traversal features. Whether you are traveling by land, climbing a mountain, or crossing a large body of water, there are a number of quick ways to get from one place to another. Knowing when to use each option can make exploring much easier.
Unlock Fast Travel Points
If you find fast travel points, using them is one of the easiest ways to cut down on travel time. As you go, make it a habit to check out new Resonance Beacons and other fast travel points. They can be opened up to give you convenient places to return to later, even if you don't need them right away.
Use Fast Travel for Long Distances
If your destination is on the other side of the map from where you are now, it’s usually faster to use fast travel. Open the map, choose an unlocked location close to where you want to go, teleport there, and continue on foot.

Take Advantage of Wall Climbing
You don’t have to take the road or a traditional path to get where you want to go. When possible, climb vertical surfaces such as cliffs, buildings and other structures.
Glide Across Gaps
Gliding is a nice way to go across valleys, get down from high places and reach platforms that would otherwise require a long detour. If you are already at a peak, look for ways to glide down to your goal, rather than drop straight back down.
Use the Hoverboard on Water
It’s easier to use the Hoverboard than swim across large bodies of water. It can be used to cross the right kind of water and reduce travel time between coastal areas or places separated by lakes and rivers.

Plan Routes Around Terrain
Have a look at the map before you leave, and think about the ground between you and your objective. It is sometimes easier to take a longer route with fewer cliffs and other obstacles than to try to cross directly over rough terrain. Fast travel, climbing, and gliding are some of the fast travel options available to you to avoid unnecessary detours.
Final Words
Discover fast travel points and unlock them, teleport to travel long distances and when you’re traveling by hand, combine climbing, gliding and crossing water. Go straight if you can and the ground allows you to, instead of going on the roads. Knowing how to move in each situation will allow you to use less time traveling and more time exploring Wuthering Waves.
