One of the most fun parts of Neverness to Everness is expanding your roster. Each character brings a different set of combat and exploration skills, as well as team synergies, that can change how you play your battles and quests. The game also adds a few characters in the main story but most of the cast you need to unlock via the game’s recruitment system. 

Move Main Story Forward 

At the start, by completing story missions you will automatically earn a handful of playable characters. These free characters are sufficient to learn the combat system and clear early content. Keep playing the main quests until you get to recruit characters.

You don’t have to unlock all the characters to have a blast playing. Concentrate on creating a balanced team of damage, support and utility units that work well together.
