Here's how to get Starfruit Seeds in Stardew Valley.
Starfruit Seeds aren't sold in Pelican Town. You buy them in the Calico Desert, so this guide covers repairing the bus, buying a ticket, finding the shop, and planting the seeds in time for Summer.
Repair the Bus to Reach the Calico Desert in Stardew Valley
The Bus is broken when you first arrive, and you can't reach the Calico Desert until it's fixed. Finish the Vault bundles at the Community Center, and the Junimos repair it. The four bundles come to about 42,500g in total.

If you went the Joja route, you can buy the repair instead for 40,000g through the Joja Community Development Form.
Buy a Ticket and Ride the Bus
Once the Bus runs, Pam drives it. She's there from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, so buy your ticket in that window. The machine sits to the left of the Bus, and it asks whether you want to buy a ticket to Calico Desert for 500g.
On the map, the Calico Desert sits in the top-left corner. Skip the 25th of Spring, because Pam stays in her trailer that day and the Bus Stop is closed.

Buy Starfruit Seeds at the Oasis in Stardew Valley
Walk into the desert and find the Oasis, the small shop where Sandy works. It's open from 9:00 am to 11:50 pm, and it's closed on holidays.
Starfruit Seeds cost 400g each. They sit in Sandy's fixed stock, so they should be on sale every time you visit.
The Traveling Cart reportedly sells them now and then, at 600g to 1,000g a seed. Sandy's price is the better deal.

Grow Starfruit in Stardew Valley Before Summer Ends
Starfruit is a Summer crop and takes 13 days to grow. Plant your seeds by around Summer 14 at the latest, so they ripen before the season ends.
Bring enough gold for the trip. You need 500g for the ticket, plus 400g for each seed you plan to buy.

What to Do Next
Check your gold, then plan the desert trip for late Spring or the first days of Summer. Buy your ticket before 5:00 pm, buy your seeds from Sandy, and plant them as soon as you're home. If the Bus is still broken, the Vault bundles are your next goal in Stardew Valley.
To get Starfruit Seeds in Stardew Valley, repair the Bus, buy a 500g ticket, and buy the seeds from Sandy at the Oasis for 400g each.
