Here's a quick guide on how to unlock and use the Grapple Hook in Wuthering Waves.
The Grapple Hook is a crucial piece of equipment for traversing the open world of Wuthering Waves, enabling players to get to higher places, cross over gaps, and explore with greater freedom. Learn how to unlock it and use it properly and you can explore faster and get to places that are difficult to access on foot.
Unlock the Graple Hook
The Grapple Hook is available from the start of the main story. The Grapple and Levitator tools become available to you as you play the game. You can use them while exploring. You neTd to do the story missions until you get the Grapple Hook.
Use the Grapple Hook
The Grapple Hook can then be selected from the Utility Wheel once unlocked. Use your platform to bring up the wheel with the button, and select the Grapple Hook. Once it's equipped, look around the area for grapple points to target.
Locate Grapple Points
The hook can be attached to your character at easily visible grapple points. They are usually on high structures, cliffs, towers and other places to be crossed. Use the Grapple Hook when you get close enough and aim for the open spot.

Go to Higher Ground
The main use of the Grapple Hook is to get to high places. Use nearby grapple points to get to the top instead of climbing an entire cliff or structure. This can help you keep your stamina up and make vert exploration a lot easier.
Cross Large Gaps
The Grapple Hook also helps you cross gaps in the ground that would otherwise require you to make a long detour. To travel faster through the world, find grapple points on the other side of an obstacle and use them.
Use With Other Movement Tools
The Grapple Hook is even more useful when paired with other exploration tools. It can be used in conjunction with flying, climbing, jumping and other traversal skills to get through difficult terrain. By switching between movement options, you can get to places you might not get to with one tool.

Use It During Quests
Some quests and exploration challenges will require you to use the Grapple Hook if you want to get to certain locations or follow certain paths. If the quest objective looks to be above or across from where you are, look for a grapple point nearby.
Look Around Before Leaving A Place
Use the Grapple Hook to climb up to a higher point, look around before continuing. Higher platforms have Supply Chests, collectibles, resources, and other hidden rewards.
