One of the biggest attractions in Neverness to Everness is the city of Hethereau. Some places are available right away, but many districts, activities, and landmarks will be locked until you make enough progress in the story and on your account. If you’re wondering why some roads, subway stations, or neighborhoods are off limits, here’s how to unlock more of the map as fast as possible. 

Progressing Through the Main Story

The fastest way to unlock new areas is to continue the Main Story. Story missions gradually introduce new districts, transport systems and important gameplay features. When one attempts to go too far without having reached the necessary chapter the paths are usually blocked or the locations inaccessible. 

If you're not sure what to do next, focus on the main quest instead of optional activities. It gives the most Hunter EXP and unlocks more areas of the city. 

Level Up Your Hunter Level 

Most of the exploration features are connected to your Hunter Level. With each level your account increases, new missions become available and more map regions are unlocked. 

Hunter EXP can be obtained by:

• Doing story and side quests.
• Daily Mission Completion.
• Spending stamina (character pixels)

Level Up Your City Tycoon 

Progressing through City Tycoon is another important requirement to unlock gameplay systems related to exploration. Completing Tycoon goals unlocks more things to do, as well as more features throughout the city. 

Earn Tycoon progress through:

• Working on Tycoon Tasks.
• Managing your business.
• Earning Fons.
• Open city activities. 

As you level up Tycoon, you’ll also unlock helpful mechanics that make getting around Hethereau a lot easier. 

Enable Fast Travel Points 

When you first enter a new district, activate all available fast travel points before you move on. This feature lets you instantly jump back to places you’ve already seen, without having to drive all over town.
