Here's a quick guide on how to build Hypercarry Teams in Honkai: Star Rail.
The core of Hypercarry teams is a Main DPS who receives the majority of the team’s resources and buffs. The damage isn’t split among many characters, but rather the entire team is aiming to upgrade one character’s abilities.
Choose Your Main DPS
First, pick a main DPS that can take advantage of a lot of buffs. Characters that can do a lot of damage, or have mechanics that benefit from certain stats are usually good candidates. Consider your character’s damage type and mechanics when selecting teammates.
Choose Strong Supports
Choose Supports that will directly benefit your Main DPS. Look for characters with DMG, ATK, CRIT, Speed, DEF reduction or other beneficial buffs and debuffs. Choose Supports with long enough lasting effects to cover the critical turns of your Main DPS.

Add a Reliable Sustain
Every hypercarry team needs a character to help everyone live. Pick a good healer or shielder that won’t eat up too many Skill Points and will offer consistent protection. Your Sustain doesn't have to hit very hard, they mainly exist to keep the team alive while your Main DPS and Supports do their thing.
Manage Skill Points
Also, managing skill points is important, as you might be using your main DPS skills a lot. Create a rotation that has your Supports using Basic Attacks when they don’t need to use their Skills. This also ensures that your Main DPS will have enough Skill Points during important damage windows.
Coordinate Your Buffs
Don't trigger buffs randomly. It's a good idea to stack your Support abilities before the start of your Main DPS's most powerful attack sequence. First, apply critical debuffs and turn on your support buffs. Then, switch to your main DPS and use their best abilities while the effects are still active.

Match the Team to Your DPS
Do not force the same hypercarry setup on all characters. Good Supports and mechanics are good for Different DPS Characters. If your main DPS is Break Damage, then you will want to prioritize Break-related buffs. Choose Supports that improve those mechanics if they depend on Critical stats or follow-up attacks.
Final Tips
A strong hypercarry team typically consists of one Main DPS, two Supports and a good Sustain. Center your best characters on the Main DPS and then utilize the remaining team members to support the Main DPS prowess. Your goal is not simply to bombard your DPS with a ton of buffs. Time your buffs with your Main DPS’s best damage windows, spend your Skill Points wisely, and develop a smooth rotation. When equipped with the right synergy, a well-constructed hypercarry team can handle difficult content.
