Here's a guide on how to unlock and use the Photo Mode in Honkai: Star Rail.
Honkai: Star Rail comes with a Photo Mode where you can take pictures of the characters you love, the places you visit and the moments you'll keep with you as you travel through the game.
It provides various camera controls, poses, expressions and editing options, which can be handy for basic screenshots, but also for more deliberately composed pictures. Here’s how to unlock it, and make the most of it.
How to Unlock Photo Mode
Once you’ve finished the game’s opening tutorial, Photo Mode will unlock. Once it’s unlocked, open the Phone menu by hitting Esc on PC or tapping the phone icon in the upper-left corner on mobile. Then locate the Camera icon on the right side of the menu.
Adjust the Camera
Once you enter Photo Mode, you can move the camera and rotate it to get the angle you want. You can also zoom in and out, and change between different camera views. On PC, just press the F key to take a picture. Controller and mobile controls have their own on-screen options.

Use Poses and Expressions
You can change the look of your character in Photo Mode before snapping the picture. You can open the settings to see the available actions and expressions, then choose a pose that fits the scene. When you want to focus on the surroundings, you can also hide the character or adjust other elements of the image with options.
Hide the UI
Hide UI Hide interface elements from the screen for better-looking screenshots. You can also change settings to hide stuff like your UID and the logo of the game. This is handy particularly when taking scenic screenshots or portraits of characters.
Edit Your Photos
After taking a picture, you can edit it with the options available to add filters and modify its final appearance. Rather than simply accepting the default camera position, experiment with angles, poses and filters.

Final Tips
Whenever you find an interesting location, use Photo Mode and try different perspectives instead of simply taking centered screenshots. For character shots, use poses & expressions. For scenery shots, hide the UI for cleaner pictures.
Saved screenshots on your PC can be found in the game’s StarRail_Data/Screenshot folder. Following these steps, you will be able to capture all the beautiful moments you come across while playing Honkai: Star Rail.
