Here's a quick guide on how to play the Super Sound rhythm game in Neverness to Everness.
Neverness to Everness: Super Sound is a rhythm based minigame where you have to follow the beat and hit notes at the right time. It is a fun change of pace from the game's exploration and combat, while also giving you another activity to complete for rewards.
Unlock Super Sound
Progress through the game until you reach Super Sound. Quests provide a number of activities and minigames, so if you haven’t yet had the opportunity to access them, you should definitely continue working toward the relevant objectives. Look at the available Super Sound menu to see the songs, difficulty options and other available features after unlocking them.
Choose a Song
To begin a round, pick a song from the list of available songs. Before you dive in, it’s worth thinking about the challenge, especially if you’re still figuring out the ins and outs of the rhythm mechanics.
Try the easier songs first to get used to the note patterns and the timing. When you are more comfortable, try harder courses which need faster and more accurate inputs.

Follow the Rhythm
Notes will appear on screen during the song and you need to interact with them at the right time. Listen to the incoming notes and try to keep in time with the music. It’s not about how fast you can hit the buttons, it’s about timing. Listen to the note patterns and try to maintain a steady rhythm throughout the song.
Increase Your Score
Your song-passing skills will be based on your performance skills. Try not to miss the notes unless you absolutely have to. When you miss a lot of notes, it can negatively impact your overall performance.
If you find are stuck at a particular track, don’t immediately go to a higher difficulty for it. Instead, just replay the track a few times. Figuring out the patterns in the song will make future work much easier.
Practice Songs That Are Difficult
Higher difficulties require more complex note patterns and better timing. It is suggested that you try the easier versions of a song first to get a feel for the rhythm before attempting the more difficult versions. Once you get the hang of the controls, try to anticipate the notes that are coming up instead of waiting until the very last moment.

Summary Notes
Begin with easier songs, concentrate on the rhythm and don't worry so much about speed. Re-play hard tracks to practice, and make them harder as you get better. With sufficient practice, one can steadily improve one’s Super Sound performance while participating in one of Neverness to Everness’s more leisurely side activities.
